The mid to upper range Maxwell Windlass RC10 Low Profile has option to be used with 8mm (5/16 inch) chain spliced to 14/16mm 8-plait nylon rope on the Maxwell Wave Design™ chainwheel or 10mm (3/8 inch) chain to 16mm 8 plait rope. The RC8 with Capstain has the same Maxwell Wave Design™ chainwheel for chain to 8-plait rope but has the advantage of a seperate drum for other rope hauling and capstain mooring.
