The larger range Maxwell Windlass RC12 Low Profile has option to be used with 10/11mm (3/8 inch) chain spliced to 16/20mm 8-plait nylon rope on the Maxwell Wave Design™ chainwheel or 12/13mm (1/2 inch) chain to 20/22mm 8 plait rope. The RC12 with Capstain has the same Maxwell Wave Design™ chainwheel for chain to 8-plait rope but has the advantage of a seperate drum for other rope hauling and capstain mooring.
