The tried and tested Maxwell Windlass RC8 Low Profile can be used with 8mm (5/16 inch) chain spliced to 14mm 8-plait nylon rope on the Maxwell Wave Design™ chainwheel. The RC8 with Capstain has the same Maxwell Wave Design™ chainwheel for chain to 8-plait rope but has the advantage of a seperate drum for other rope hauling and capstain mooring.
