The Maxwell HRC10 Horizontal Series windlasses are the latest models in the highly successful fully automatic rope/chain range anchor winches.
8mm and 10mm short link chain and 14mm or 16mm braided rope can be effortlessly raised or lowered by the HRC10-8 or HRC10-10
Beautiful design and functionality above deck with a two part watertight motor and drive casing below deck.
Cone style clutch enables manual "free fall" deployment.
Important: Maxwell windlasses must be used in conjunction with a chain stopper or alternative snubbing device to take the load off the windlass while lying at anchor. The chain stopper and alternnative snubbing system should also be used to secure the anchor in the fully raised position while under way.
